On Occasion of Henry Morgantaller being awarded an
honourary doctorate at the University of
Western Ontario on June 16, 2005
We are Truth and Love for Life.
We are Christians who believe all life has value and
worth because it is GOD who forms each life in His own image in the
womb where every life begins.
He
has not poured out His judgment against these murders yet because He
is patient, kind and loving.
He is giving people the chance to believe that Jesus
Christ suffered the penalty for their sins, so they can be forgiven
and have eternal life.
We grieve for women, men and children who are
unjustly hurt or killed in the name of freedom and have not had the
chance to make a choice for themselves.
The
Bible says: Open your mouth for the mute, For the rights of all the
unfortunate. Open your mouth, judge righteously, And
defend the rights of the afflicted and needy.
We are empathetic to all women who have not been told
the truth regarding their physical and emotional health after
abortion.
A child from conception in the womb, is created in
the image of God.
Once the child is conceived it is the creation of God
in His own image and a life in the womb involves four persons -
Mother, Father, Child and God.
While we empathize with both women and men, we are
especially mourning the holocaust of millions of children savagely
torn from the place God created to be for their protection in their
weakest, most fragile time.
There is no other way a child can be brought into
this world but through the womb, and the Bible says that it is in the
womb God has formed us. We’re all created in God’s image to have
great value and worth.
God asks us through His Word, the Bible (Isaiah
49:15) “Can a woman forget her suckling child, that she should not
have compassion on the son of her womb? And He answers, “Yes, they
may forget, yet I will not forget you.” He will not forget the
lives of these children. He is the one that has formed each one in
the womb.
Making truth to be whatever we want it to be is no
longer truth.
As we mourn for these millions of children, we also
hope to share the unchangeable truth of God’s Word.
The
Bible says: Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil;
Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes.
Encouraging women to pursue so called beautiful and
convenient lifestyles at the cost of God’s precious and living
creations is going to bring judgment from the LORD on our country if
we don’t change our ways and seek His forgiveness.
God is a Just God and will not allow killing or any
other sin to go unpunished.
We would cry out in utter horror if the same atrocities occurred
outside of the womb.
Yet, how cold and apathetic love has become when we
praise and honour those who encourage moms and dads to destroy the
lives of their own children.
The Bible says just the penalty for sin is hell.
God has not poured out His judgment against these
murders yet because of His patience and love for life.
He has not brought strict judgment yet because he
wants us to save us from our sins.
He wants us to be saved from the penalty of our sins
– and saved from the sin that we are trapped in if we don’t know
Him.
Forgiveness isn’t cheap. It can’t be earned. We
would all agree that it doesn’t matter how many good things a
murderer says he’ll do to make up for his wrong. He still has to
pay the penalty for his crime.
This is justice.
God sent His Son Jesus Christ to suffer death on the
cross. This wasn’t a small price to pay.
Jesus never sinned – and so he didn’t deserve
this treatment. But because of His love for us, he became the
sacrifice for the sin of those who will believe that He is the Son of
God and that he rose from the dead. Jesus said, “"I
am the way, and the truth, and the life,” and
“Truly, I say to you, he who hears
my word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life,
and does not come into judgment.”
The Bible says that God takes no pleasure in sending
people to hell, but He wants everyone to come to repentance.
Because we love life in light of God’s truth, we
want to see justice for the lives of these children we mourn.
Because we love all life we urge those who have committed abortions
to go against the selfish grain of society and humble their lives to
the truth and love of Jesus Christ.
It is for Jesus Christ that we speak all these things
in His truth and His love for life.
QUICK BLURB:
We believe all life has value and worth because it is
GOD who forms each life in His own image in the womb where every life
begins.
He
has not poured out the judgment of His anger over these murders yet
because He is patient, kind and loving.
He is giving people the chance to believe that Jesus
Christ suffered the penalty for their sins, so they can be forgiven
and have eternal life.
Jesus
said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life" (John 14:6)(NASB)
"Truly,
I say to you, he who hears my word, and believes Him who sent
Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgement" (John 5:24)(NASB)
Isa
5:20 - Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put
darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for
sweet, and sweet for bitter!
Isa 5:21 - Woe unto them that are wise in their own
eyes
Isa 49:15 Can a woman forget her suckling child,
that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yes, they
may forget, yet I will not forget you.
Jeremiah 7:5-7 (repentance)
Pro
24:11 If thou forbear to deliver them that are drawn unto death, and
those that are ready to be slain;
Pro
24:12 If thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not; doth not he that
pondereth the heart consider it? and he that keepeth thy soul, doth
not he know it? and shall not he render to every man according to his
works?
Isa 58:1
Isa
1:16, 17, 23 Isa 1:15 And when ye spread forth your hands, I will
hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not
hear: your hands are full of blood.
Isa
1:16 Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from
before mine eyes; cease to do evil;
Isa
1:17 Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge
the fatherless, plead for the widow.
Isa
1:18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though
your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they
be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
Isa

land:
Ps 82:3-4
Ps 146:7-9
Prov 21:13 Whoso stoppeth his ears at the cry of the
poor, he also shall cry himself, but shall not be heard.
